Dr. Kati Suominen is Founder and CEO of Nextrade Group, an innovative research firm that helps governments, international organizations, and Fortune 500s drive trade and digitization worldwide, and TradeUp Capital Fund, a growth capital platform for globalizing companies. She is also Adjunct Professor at UCLA Anderson School of Management, Adjunct Fellow at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), and Senior Advisor to the World SME Forum.

A business and policy entrepreneur, Kati is the idea-woman behind such major initiatives as eTrade for All, a global multi-stakeholder initiative to accelerate e-commerce development worldwide now championed by the United Nations, and RTA Exchange, a forthcoming global forum on trade agreements sponsored by the Inter-American Development Bank and Asian Development Bank. She is also the Founder and Coordinator of the Private Sector Advisory Council to eTrade for All.
